Cockfighter is a filthy, dirty, pounding, rock and roll ditty that showcases Aussie rock at its best. Clocking in at a well rounded three minutes and fifty-four seconds, it gives you just enough time to scull your pint and jump around madly to the distorted guitar goodness.
The Kill Devil Hills are a five piece hailing from the western shores of Australia and their new single captures the good old hard working, hard drinking Aussie spirit . Their sound is reminiscent of early Kings of Leon with vocal similarities to Caleb Followill and thrashing guitar riffs that will have you channelling superman as you fly off the stage using your flannie as a cape. Cockfighter is a taster from the forthcoming record, aptly titled Man, You Should Explode.
If this single is anything to go by, then the album will be exploding right round the nation as the boys take their sweaty, grinding rock trip on tour.
