Various Artists - Illusive Illustrations: Vol. 2 (Album)
Whenever a sampler is released it always concerns me that the label is using it as a chance to promote some of their up and coming artists. However Illusive Illustrations – Vol.2 is definitely not the case.
Australian record label Illusive Sounds have forged a nice niche in the market (along with Obese Records) in the Urban/Hip Hop scene. This is not a sampler, it is a collection of Australia’s finest Hip Hop artists – True Live, Bliss N Eso, Lowrider, Paris Wells, Downsyde and X & Hell.
Riding high from recent from recent national fame for her collaboration with Bliss N Eso at the Sound Relief concert in Melbourne. Paris Wells is a star on this album, she has an amazing voice. Her track, When It’s Time with a quick verse from RHyNO from True Live – I hate to use a really poor play on words – but now is her time.
