If the cover artwork wasn’t enough to warn me, the opening bars of the first song were more than sufficient.

This is terrible. I can bravely say this CD will never get another airing on my player after this is written, except maybe to briefly verify to myself that it definitely was as bad as I first thought...

It sort of sounds like a really, really bad version of Grateful Dead, but with horrific mixing and the wrong drugs. It almost sounds like it was recorded under water. The vocals blend into the background and no instrument on any of the tracks seem to stand out...

I’d like to describe some of the songs to you, but they all sort of sound the same, and seem to merge into each other and it’s not pretty.

I’ve been trying to find something nice to say about this vicious assault on my eardrums since I put it on, but I’m yet to come up with anything.

I’m not sure if I’ll even be able to listen to it the whole way through. Even my dog has left the room.

It’s not that I’m usually critical, I listen to all types of music and am quite capable of enjoying almost any genre you stick in front of me providing it is backed up by ability and talent, but this is genuinely terrible.

It really just goes to show that these days anyone can produce a CD, you no longer need talent, just a bit of money.

So, enough. The CD is being turned off and this review is being cut short. There is nothing nice to say.
