Bertie Blackman caught everyone's attention in late 2004 with her debut album Headway and the killer single Favourite Jeans. Fast-forward to 2006, and Bertie has since released several more hits including Television, You Kill Me and her latest single, Hold Me Close. Black was produced by ARIA award winning producer Paul McKercher (Augie March, You Am I, Eskimo Joe), and is the next taste in Bertie's evolution to electric guitar, with distortion, pounding drums and killer hooks featuring prominently.
