Nashville Pussy get to the point
Out in Australia recently for a short but sweet tour, Ruyter Suys, lead guitarist of Nasville Pussy showed the Dwarf how she gets straight to the point as she runs the 20 question gauntlet in record time.
1. Any advice for a young band starting out? GROW UP
2. A husband and wife team huh, any domestics`(arguments) when your touring?NEVER... except when he starts to drive me FUCKING CRAZY!! Just kidding, never, honest!
3. What do you like about playing in Australia? The Food! Just kidding, The People - are some of the coolest I've met in me life.
4. How would you compare Atlanta to Melbourne? I wouldn't.
5. What is it about AC/DC that you like so much? They just plain rock, and Angus's bottom!
6. Nutbush City Limits, an Ike and Tina cover, does that mean Blaine is up for a bit of wife beating too? Maybe but so far I haven't found that button.
7. Your new album 'Get Some', get what? Get Some PUSSY!
8. How would you describe the album to the Aussie audiance? AC/DC plus Rose Tattoo plus the Saints plus Cosmic Psychos Plus Ike and Tina Turner. OR Sex Drugs and Rock 'n' Roll!
9. Doing a pretty exhausting looking world tour, and the band has been together for ten years, what keeps you going? See above, that and outstanding warrants in America - Gotta keep
running.
10. Blue collar with attitude, will Australia every see Nashville Pussy, doing the Australian version of Bogan, with Winnie Blues (cigarettes), Flannies (checked shirt) and Mocasuns (slippers)? Isn't that more of a Seattle thing?
11. Did any of the band have musical training? School of Hard Knocks and Angus University (top of my class).
12. What or who are your influences? Everything that Rocks - and has Soul - nothing Plastic or crappy please.
13. What was the first album you bought? Led Zeppelin's Houses Of The Holy (for my mum!)
14. Your coming to Melbourne, where football is a religion, what/who/religon do you follow (other than rock 'n' roll)? Baseball and now Euro Football (Ronaldinho!!)
15. How did you come up with Nashville Pussy? Everything in music was sucking no chicks rocking out so we had to do it, for the kids!
16. How many underpants/guitars do you take on tour with you? NO underpants ever, many guitars.
17. Where do you stay when touring , cheep hotels or luxourious penthouse suites? Both.

19. You've been together 10 years in this country you get less for manslaughter, are you still good friends? Yes, but what's a little murder between friends
20. What question would you ask yourself? Where did I hide the drugs?
