Die Roten Punkte announce Australian shows
Berliner’s Otto and Astrid Rot are back in town to celebrate the local release of their acclaimed Super Musikant CD - a ten-track high-energy feast of rock, studded with rich veins of roll. The Teutonic twosome are hungry to back up the hype by ripping through a brace of their sparkling pop-punk anthems live.
Despite Astrid’s stay in rehab at the beginning of 2008, Die Roten Punkte had a stunningly successful North American tour. The Gazette Montreal describes them as a “sonic collision between Plastic Bertrand, Kraftwerk and early Ramones” and they have quickly gained widespread acclaim for being a “must-see act”.
Now they are bring their unique brand of Rock n Roll to Australia for a limited run of shows. The rest of the world has already experienced Die Roten Punkte – now it’s your turn.
