One of this country’s most under rated indie song writers has to be Tim Steward. Better known for his work with Brisbane’s 90’s oz rock favourites Screamfeeder, Tim brings his latest solo project to the Evelyn with full band in tow. Lush, layered pop songs with Tim’s trademark lyrical smarts and intelligent pop melodies, bordering on experimental rock and acoustic singer-songwriter charm. Tim is joined by alt-country songstress Krista Polvere, who has been causing a stir around town after her return from New York which saw her co-write with, and also support Ryan Adams on his most recent Australia tour. Jamie Hutchings (Bluebottle Kiss) opens up the night of music with his well-crafted tunes using a wide range of instruments and sounds to create a beautiful and luring wall of sound.
