Akron USA’s favorite sons The Black Keys will join Xavier Rudd and Somali hip hop sensation K’naan, at a special gathering of global talents on April 17th 2006.

The Black Keys will bring their rollicking blues rock, to share the stage with Aboriginal hip hop collective Local Knowledge, blues and roots maestro Ash Grunwald, Rob Sawyer, Bomba and West Australian, Carus and his True Believers who are coming together to honor the traditional heritage of this country.

In conjunction with Aboriginal education centre Narana Creations, Xavier Rudd and fellow musicians, aim to draw attention to the huge gap in Aboriginal cultural education in Australian schools through privately funding a program called, Respect For Spirit.
