All the way from Albuquerque, New Mexico, The Handsome Family return to Australia to appear at The Perth International Arts Festival and headline shows around the country.

The world’s favourite gothic country duo made their first trip down under to appear in Hal Wilner’s Leonard Cohen tribute concert ‘Came So Far For Beauty’, which saw them perform alongside Nick Cave, Cave, Jarvis Cocker and Antony to name a few.

Husband and wife duo Brett and Rennie Sparks return to promote their new record, ‘The Last Days Of Wonder’ (Spunk Records). The album is a collection of love songs sung in airports, garbage dumps, drive-thru windows and shark-infested waters as imagined by Rennie, the lyricist of the band - lyrics that critic Greil Marcus hailed as having “no parallel in modern writing”. Their previous records have been consistently praised by critics, earning them a cult following around the globe, and ‘Last Days Of Wonder’ is no different.

The Handsome Family blend old and new world Americana live over the following dates:
