Adam Green sideshows announced
Adam Green will be leaving his New York home this December to perform at the Meredith Music Festival, along with three headline shows around the country promoting his fifth solo album, “Sixes & Sevens”.
Adam’s irreverent wit and pop sensibilities were established early on as a teenager with his first band, the much loved Anti-Folk heroes Moldy Peaches. Formed with his bunnysuit-wearing-partner-in-crime Kimya Dawson (Adam sported a Robin Hood costume at the time). Both Adam and Kimya experienced a resurgence earlier this year when the Peaches were featured on the soundtrack of hit indie film, Juno.
Julian Casablancas of The Strokes says of Adam: “It always amazes me how he can express such deep meaning with such twisted humor. Adam is eccentric and down-to-earth, with new found technical proficiency over a wider spectrum of styles. I love it.”
