The Age EG Awards took place in Melbourne on Friday November 30th, and Augie March took out the coveted Best Band award ahead of a field that included Powderfinger and Silverchair. The band has sent big heart sandwiches to readers who voted for them, and The Age EG staff and writers. An acoustic version of 'One Crowded Hour' was struck up on the night.
Augie March will hold their annual Christmas Shows at The Hi-Fi in Melbourne on December 20 and 21, tickets are selling fast for both. They head to Margaret River WA, to play Southbound on Jan 5, then join the national touring Big Day Out festival in January 2008.
