Alexisonfire Return to Australia!
» Soundwave Festival 2008 - Sydney Park, NSW - February 25, 2008
Alexisonfire rose up out of the Southern Ontario underground in late 2001 like a huge and utterly captivating car-accident-in-progress. Hitting the ground with an immediate full head of steam, Alexisonfire have not only impressed the critics with their sour/sweet approach to performance and writing, but are recognized for their stellar musicianship, and the palpably pent-up tightness of the band live.
Supporting Alexisonfire on their upcoming Australian Tour will be fellow Canadians', Moneen. After the release of Are We Really Happy With Who We Are Right Now, Moneen became legendary for their tight, stop-start arrangements, and song titles that go on for miles. Their live shows, however, show no sign of taming, just improving. Also on board for the ride is New Zealand's Blindspott. Blindspott's newest release End The Silence is an intensely heavy experience, both in terms of pure metal and mental carnage.
