Already acknowledged as THE festival event of the summer, All Tomorrow's Parties are now pleased to announce a select series of side shows featuring some of the pre-eminent acts appearing at the inaugural Australian All Tomorrow's Parties Festival series.
Avant blues & jazz legend James 'Blood' Ulmer will appear in solo mode performing intimate shows in both Sydney and Melbourne:
Thursday 8th January: Melbourne, The Gershwin Room (The Espy)
Tuesday 13th January: Sydney, The Basement
Former lead figure of iconic post-punk eighties act The Swans and later, Angels of Light - Michael Gira - will also appear in solo mode with one-off performances in Sydney and Melbourne to add to his Brisbane theatre show:
Monday 12th January: Melbourne, The Toff In Town
Wed 14th January: Brisbane, Visy Theatre
Thursday 15th January: Sydney, The Basement
Krautrock supergroup Harmonia, who feature original members of German giants; Kraftwerk and Can & Cluster, will also perform intimate shows in Sydney and Melbourne on this their first ever trip to Australia:
Monday 12th January: Melbourne, East Brunswick Club
Tuesday 13th January: Brisbane, Powerhouse Visy Theatre
Friday 16th January: Sydney, The Basement
The electro-static throb of the UK's Fuck Buttons (pictured) team up with US psychedelic shoe-gazers Dead Meadow and the avant-freak out of Japan's Afrirampo for one helluva triple bill via club shows in Sydney & Melbourne:

Thursday 15th January: Sydney, Oxford Arts Factory
Friday 16th: Brisbane, Powerhouse Theatre Tickets
