With two months before the inaugural Blueprint Festival kicks off from September 18-21st in Ararat Victoria, the organizers announce the final round of acts added to the ever-growing line up.
Along with the already massive line up the Blueprint Festival 2009 will also feature Australian rock royalty Tim Rogers, Clare Bowditch [pictured], Funkoars, The Fauves, Lowrider, Gun Street Girls, The Spazzys, Husky and Polygon Palace.
This year the Oaktree Foundation and Blueprint have teamed up and will be working together running music events within University campuses in Victoria in August to promote the Festival and to support of the work of the Oaktree Foundation.
The Oaktree Foundation was founded in 2003 with the mission to empower developing communities through education in a way that is sustainable. Since conception, Oaktree has raised more than $1,000,000 for development projects in six countries to provide more than 40,000 young people with increased educational opportunities. Oaktree was the leader behind the 2006 Make Poverty History Concert in Melbourne, and the 2007 Make Poverty History Zero Seven Road Trip.
The Blueprint Festival & Oaktree Foundation Uni Shows will showcase acts playing at this year’s Festival at selected Uni campuses in Victoria with incentives for all Oaktree members, and Blueprint donating $3.00 from each Festival ticket sold to Oaktree.
