Doves tour news
» The Best of Doves: 2011 Australian Tour - November 22, 2010
Flying in to Australia in a few weeks on the back of their killer new album Kingdom of Rust and a string of stellar live performances the DOVES would like to announce the following:
Good news for Melbourne fans who missed out on a ticket to their gig on Tuesday July 28th. Unable to add another date in the band’s tight touring schedule, promoters have moved this show from Billboard to the Palace Theatre. The additional tickets that are now available thanks to moving to a bigger venue will be available from 9am this Friday 3rd July. Existing Billboard tickets for this event will be valid at the door.
WA fans should know their show at Capitol on Saturday 1st August has now SOLD OUT. Please note no extra shows will be added for this tour.
Doves have also announced two local bands confirmed to lend an indie hand to warm up the crowd:
Taking to the stage for all of the Doves shows will be the Townsville musical collective, THE MIDDLE EAST. Joining the Doves and The Middle East during Sydney’s second Metro show on Thursday 30th July will be Adelaide’s much loved folk rock outfit LEADER CHEETAH.
