Gomez Announce Sydney Shows and National Supports

In 2000, five young lads from Southampton in the UK wandered onto The Metro stage in Sydney for their first ever-Australian performances. Over 2 hour sets followed with all the early hits, '78 Stone Wobble', 'Las Vegas Dealer', 'We Haven't Turned Around', 'Whipping Piccadilly', hell...even Tijuana Lady was a regular. The crowd was enraptured, emotional and dancing...they were 2 very special nights for the band and those in attendance.

Seven long years later, that same band return for 2 intimate shows to follow up their Great Escape performance over Easter. That band is GOMEZ.

Since 2000, the band have released another 6 albums and played to thousands around this fine land and the world. Their shows have evolved into a celebration of their extensive catalogue of tunes, their musicianship and the rare camaraderie and sheer fun and playing to the sweaty masses.

These 2 shows will be the last dates on the band's Australian tour, and are sure to be musical and social events not to be missed. Expect surprise, expect shenanigans, and expect something special.
