Holly Throsby Announces Tour

After two critically acclaimed albums - 2004's On Night and 2006's Under the Town - Holly Throsby has just released her first EP. The 6-track collection, entitled One of You for Me, includes two new songs, two live recordings, and two covers. To celebrate its release, Holly is going on tour with her band for a limited run of shows in September.

Holly and her band performed an amazing set last weekend at Splendour in the Grass (with Machine Translations' J Walker joining them for the first time on keyboard). It was Holly's first show since April's Great Escape Festival, and this next run of dates will be her only headline shows this year before she departs to Nashville to record her third album.

Support on this tour comes from the USA's Stephanie Dosen who has just released the beautiful A Lily For The Spectre album on Bella Union. The album was produced by Simon Raymonde (of the Cocteau Twins), and he will be accompanying Stephanie on various instruments throughout the tour.
