Howling Bells making an impact with The Killers in the US - Australian tour dates announced for May

Having played the sold-out 25,000 seat Staple Centre in Los Angeles recently, Australian band Howling Bells are support act on an 11 date tour with top US artists The Killers through the West Coast and the South, playing arenas before headlining their own club and small venue tour along the US East Coast. Howling Bells have just announced their Australian tour starting May 9.

Howling Bells headlined their own tour of the UK late last year to packed houses and played with The Killers on their European tour in 2006. They've garnered critical acclaim in the UK and Europe with their debut album on the Bella Union label there and now are headed home for their first full headline tour here. They have supported Placebo, Snow Patrol and Future Heads in the past year.

11 May 2007 - Metro Theatre, Sydney
12 May 2007 - Green Room, Canberra
16 May 2007 - The Corner Hotel, Melbourne
18 May 2007 - The Governor Hindmarsh, Adelaide
19 May 2007 - Rosemount Hotel, Perth

The album Howling Bells is released in Australia through Liberation Music.
