Josh Pyke will release his third album Only Sparrows on 19th August. The first single, "No One Wants A Lover" is set to be released on 20th June.
Only Sparrows follows previous albums Memories & Dust (2007) and Chimney's Afire (2008.) Only Sparrows is out on Ivy League 19th August.
Following a year off the road, Pyke also announced his Fans First tour, a small run of acoustic shows where he'll play his new material live for the first time. Members of Josh Pyke's fan club can purcahse tickets in a presale starting on Thursday, 26th May at 9am until Wednesday, 1st June at 5pm. Tickets go on sale to the general public on Thursday 2nd June at 9am.
Profits from the Fans First tour will be donated to Busking For Change, an annual even held by Pyke to raise funds for the Indigenous Literacy Foundation.
