In the short period of their existence, Sydney’s Papa vs Pretty (Thomas Rawle (vocals/guitars/synths), recruiting Gus Gardiner (bass/keys) and Tom Myers (drums/percussion) have set themselves up as one of our most exciting new propositions, playing with the likes of The Temper Trap, Malcolm Middleton (Arab Strap), Dappled Cities, British India and Bridezilla, festival slots on the Laneway and Parklife Festivals, and piquing the attention of music blogs and tastemakers with their debut EP, all while studying for their HSC.

Now Papa vs Pretty are releasing FROM THE BUNKER, an 8-part fortnightly series during which the band will release a new track and accompanying clip, recorded, filmed and produced entirely by the band and the band’s school friend, Ben Wilson.

The first installment Club 77, is a rollicking sonic account of the band being banned from playing a gig for being underage. Check it out here:
