Powderfinger tour sells out - new shows added

Powderfinger’s Upstairs at the Downstairs Tour has Sold Out 11 shows nationally today! The first tickets to the capital city shows sold out within 5 minutes of going on sale this morning with extra shows for Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne going on sale shortly after and selling out within minutes.

This is the fastest a theatre run has sold for Powderfinger. Promoter and Powderfinger manager Paul Piticco said “The band and management are totally overwhelmed by demand for tickets to these shows. We purposely came up with this tour concept to give something to the fans and obviously from today’s result we’ve struck the right chord! Now it’s up to the audience to choose the set list … get voting!”

These theatre shows will comprise two sets – one acoustic / one amped - with the audience getting the chance to choose the setlists. Head to www.powderfinger.com/tours to vote on what you think should be in the set.
