The destruction of the QLD flood crisis has stunned the nation. In response, Megan Washington and Bertie Blackman have rallied Melbourne’s music community to join together for a one off benefit show at the Corner Hotel in Richmond on Thursday 20 January.

"When I first saw the images of the ravaging floods my heart stopped. The mother of nature is such an immense and terrifying creature. The father of nature must have been an asshole. I’m proud that we the artistic folk can give back...in song and note...in colour and strokes." Bertie Blackman.

“I am very deeply and personally affected by the devastation in Queensland. Seeing so many of my friends and family evacuated and displaced is unfathomably horrific. I feel compelled to do whatever I can to assist in this traumatic time.” Megan Washington.

A selection of Australia's most revered artists will be performing at the Corner Hotel including Clare Bowditch, Bertie Blackman, Missy Higgins, Tim Rogers, Dan Sultan and Megan Washington.

The artists will perform short acoustic sets. The evening will be hosted by MC extraordinaire Julia Zemiro. 100% of profits will be donated to the Premiers Disaster Relief Appeal to aid the victims of the Queensland floods.

Tickets have already sold out.
