Reggaetown announces first lineup
Australia’s premier Island, Roots & Reggae Festival, Reggaetown, set in the lush Tropical North Queensland town of Cairns, is back for 2009, taking place on Saturday September 5th, at Tjapukai Aboriginal Cultural Park.
With yet again a stellar line up, fans from across Australia and the globe will make their way to Cairns, to see:
Katchafire, Blue King Brown [pictured] , VTribe, Sol Nation, Killa Queenz, Dubwize (NZ), Zennith, Poetikool Justice, One Africa Trio-King Marong and Lamin Sonoko, Hemi tuff Selekta and Basmati (rhythm collision sound system).
Reggaetown not only showcases an eclectic mix of music, bands , djs and sound systems, but also roving performers, cafes, garden bars, kids activities, workshops in music, dance and drafts, market stalls from all over the world and a few surprises…
