The story goes that 'David Neil' met an untimely death, leaving much of his work unheard and undiscovered, until his touring bassist, Steve Kilbey of The Church, managed to dig it up.
In a collaborative effort with The Brian Jonestown Massacre's Ricky Maymi, Steve has brought his brainchild David Neil's work out as a limited edition vinyl, The Wilderness Years, by David Neil.
The LP will be released in July, and Kilbey and Maymi will tour Australia to celebrate. Special guests for the tour include Jill and Alsy of The Triffids, and Richard Lane of The Stems.
The album will be released on 1st July on The Time Being Records. See Steve Kilbey and Ricky Maymi on the following dates:
