Formed in Sydney’s Northern Beaches in 2003 STONE PARADE’s blend of melodic driven rock along with their compelling lyrics reveals a band with a sincere interest in the world around them. Late last year the band’s track ‘Somebody Will Miss You’ scored first prize of the publicly voted ‘Nokia Be Heard’ competition garnering them a useful $10,000.00 cash injection. STONE PARADE is now well and truly primed to introduce themselves by way of their debut single ‘My Generation’.

Of the new single, lead singer Greg Byrne said today, “I see ‘My Generation’ as the fitting track for our first single. Creating awareness of the world’s problems is the first step to problem solving, whether or not we believe what we read out there, prevention is a must. Amongst all of the world’s problems new children are born everyday and no matter what happens, those children are part of the next generation who will carry on.”

Released independently through MGM Distribution, ‘My Generation’ is out now and STONE PARADE will kick things off with a few special performances on their home turf, Sydney’s Northern Beaches.
