The Basics have started 2009 with a bang.
Their breathtaking single, With This Ship has heralded a new musical direction for the band and has been added to rotation on triple j. With This Ship’s epic video clip has been doing the rounds on Channel [V] and Rage as well as being liberally scattered around the web.
In April, The Basics will be casting their anchor along the East Coast where they will be treating punters with a rare chance to get up close and personal with The Basics in a series of intimate showcase gigs.
The Basics will be showcasing With This Ship along with many other musical treasures at Transit Bar in Canberra on Thursday 23 April.
This exclusive show will be starring songs from The Basics’ forthcoming album Keep Your Friends Close and will introduce the public to The Basics’ newly chartered musical direction.
