The 2011 Reclink Community Cup will combine football and live music on Sunday, June 26th, at Elsternwick Park, Elsternwick. Several prominent Australian groups are set to play at this event, including Tumbleweed and You Am I.
Tumbleweed, the Wollongong based stoner rock group that recently returned from a long hiatus will play a special half-time performance at the Reclink Community Cup. This marks the first time in the history of the event that a band from NSW has performed, and will be the only all-ages performance the Tumbleweeds have in Victoria.
You Am I will also perform at the 2011 Reclink Community Cup, as will Mercy Kills, and the Ravelles.
The theme for this year's Reclink Community Cup is "Do you love me?", a tribute to Melbourne's own Nick Cave, and in honor of the musician, all bands will perform a Nick Cave song during their set.
