'Southern Roots Tasmania' is a unique music festival positioned on the exclusive and historic site of the Royal Tasmanian Botanical Gardens in Hobart, showcasing spectacular views over Derwent River, some of the worlds most talented performers and a local market featuring some of Tasmania's finest Food and Wine.

The festival will be held over Easter Weekend annually to a capped audience of 8,000 only, and is a sister event to the East Coast International Blues And Roots Music Festival (Byron Bay Bluesfest).

The festival will take place on Sunday 23rd, March, 2008.

PLEASE NOTE: Southern Roots Tasmania is an 18+ event. We are family friendly and we encourage family groupings, but under 18s need to be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
