Four of Melbourne’s newest, young bands are getting together for a night of harmonious chaos. Having just released their debut EP, Leisure Class make rollicking, discordant pop, fuelled with the bravado and energy reserved for the truest of unions – a group of mates from school who provide exactly the sort of horn lines, guitar licks and manic lead vocals you want from your pub-pop. They are joined by the swamp-stomp, garage rock of the Swindlers, the indie-pop smarts of the Bikeage and the musical-chairs-styled, energetic and passionate collective of nine multi-instrumentalists that make up The Good China.
