Vancouver’s hardest working man, Dan Mangan, returns to Australia for this tour to support the release of his new album ‘Oh Fortune’. Dan’s DIY, underdog, indie, ‘tour as much as you possibly can wherever you can’ ethic has taken him all over the world and driven his music and songs into the indie space inhabited by the likes of Broken Social Scene, Bon Iver and Arcade Fire. Dan returns with his full band and the next chapter of what is sure to be a long career. ‘Oh Fortune’ was produced by Colin Stewart (Black Mountain) and now, flanked with a stellar supporting cast, Dan’s rich and textured new album finds him further exploring folk music’s boundaries.
