After a very brief introduction to the live scene in 2007, not only were Oh Mercy in the Wireless Bollingers list of '10 bands to watch in 2008' but they also stormed their way onto the stage at Melbourne's Big Day Out as winners of Triple Js Unearthed initiative - this at a time when they had played a mere 10 shows.

Initially sidestepping label offers to instead take the long path to writing their debut album, the band decided to hone their craft and work with people they trusted to follow their strong musical lead.
Oh Mercy are currently in the process of completing their debut album, with Myles Wooton (The Panics) in production seat.
