Wolf & Cub have called upon Christopher Colonna - front man and the brains behind electro-pop, punk-beats outfit the Bumblebeez - to produce their forthcoming album. Known for his manic, raw and ridiculously energetic aesthetic, Colonna is about to shake things up in the world of Wolf & Cub.
The band has already put down three new tracks for their first single One To The Other, a raw, high-energy rock track that mixes up early 90s psychedelic guitar band sounds with the powerful grooves Wolf & Cub lock in to.
The single will also feature a Bumblebeez remix of One To The Other plus the raw punk fuelled, drum n bass track Relief, as well as psyche track Master.
The new single and album follows on from Wolf & Cub's recent signing with Domino Publishing, who represent a veritable army of amazing writers and musicians including Bonnie Prince Billy, Vashti Bunyan, Diplo and Spiritualized. Wolf & Cub first caught Domino's attention with their debut album Vessels, which was released internationally through 4AD (The Breeders, Blonde Redhead, Scott Walker). With the release of the new album, Wolf & Cub are undoubtedly set for even bigger and better things.
Celebrate the return of Wolf & Cub as they play tracks from the new album this June/July on their tour of Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne and home town, Adelaide.
