Ian Moss delivers an unforgettable sound – not only on guitar but with a voice that resonates with pure soul. Now, on a groundbreaking new concert tour, this Australian music legend will be making his voice heard more than you’ve ever heard before.

With an overwhelming national response to his flawless performances of My Happy Valentine and Hallelujah on ‘It Takes Two’, Moss has been back in the studio doing what he does best.

As a first taste of a startling new musical direction, Ian Moss is embarking on the Never Say Never national tour to showcase fresh songs which will be featured on his new album, recently recorded in Nashville with legendary US producer Danny Kortchmar (Don Henley, Neil Young and Tracy Chapman).

For this album, Ian’s sweet, soaring voice is the pivot around which Kortchmar builds a rich, soulful sound, drawing from classic influences and a great depth of emotion - Sam Cooke, Al Green, Otis Redding and Stevie Wonder - with a pinch of Creedence Clearwater Revival and new compositions included for good measure.

It’s fitting that this new phase of Ian Moss’s bold renaissance as a solo artist should carry the name Never Say Never, amplifying his willingness to embrace new ideas and influences. The acoustic Six Strings album in 2005 was the first sign from Mossy that anything was now possible in his musical realm. Heartened by that success, his Let’s All Get Together album and sell out tours through 2007 and early 2008, showed Ian to be an especially dextrous musical stylist; not just a rock player, not just an acoustic strummer, but a truly seasoned and rounded musical talent, an Australian Icon.

With a combination of considerable talent and the ability to explore diverse ranges of styles in her music, ARIA Award winning Wendy Matthews has made many genres her own, from jazz to blues, rock to gospel, soul to outright infectious pop and then, of course, there are her trademark beautiful ballads, including hits like The Day You Went Away, If Only I Could and Friday’s Child. Wendy’s star has also been on the rise following her appearances on all 3 series of “It Takes Two”. Wendy has just completed her first independent record on her own Dancing Deer record label. The album, She, is an intimate collection of songs by inspirational women. As she deftly puts it, they are "songs that have made the singer, women who have made the woman".

Also joining the tour is the exciting new Sydney six-piece vocal group Tempus. Expect a few surprises, including vocal duets between Ian and Wendy, and the full chorus of singers delivering some inspired and heartfelt performances.

Ian Moss, Wendy Matthews, Tempus – a bold venture that will certainly turn heads, especially when Never Say Never concert audiences hear the power and excitement of what Ian Moss now has to offer as a vocalist of repute. All tour dates below.
