In April, The Basics did what they do best and hit the open road for the launch of their single With This Ship. Everywhere they played The Basics captivated and mesmerised packed houses with their intimate and acoustic shows.

This July and August, The Basics are plugging in, going back to electric and playing at a town near you!

Armed with the sweet new melodies from their forthcoming album Keep Your Friends Close, The Basics have their sights set firmly on the East Coast and will be kicking off live proceedings in Sydney, Wollongong, Cronulla, and Canberra before trekking to Hobart and Launceston. After Tasmania, The Basics will be heading north to Queensland for shows in Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast, before heading to Byron Bay and wrapping things up in Cairns.

2009 is already shaping up to be a huge year for The Basics; their latest single With This Ship has been lovingly added to rotation on triple j and community radio nationally and you may have seen the epic With This Ship video clip on Rage and Channel [V].
