To celebrate the release of his new album Poets, Hobart pop impresario Charles Du Cane is hosting a release party.
The album, written and partly recorded in India throughout 2008, is full of electro-pop parlour tunes after the Tasmanian fashion, guaranteed to knock yr socks off. Featuring guest performances from members of Hobart luminaries Viva Computer, The Que and Moe Grizzly, Poets was overdubbed and mixed by Anthony Rochester at his Winter Palace studios, and produced by Charles Du Cane.
Musical guests on the night of the launch include the lyrical guitar loops of Drive West Today, the astonishingly talented Tasmanian Grassroots Union Choir, and another very special guest to be confirmed...
