Dave Graney works out of Melbourne Australia. He played with the Moodists from 1978 to 1986. Then played with the White Buffaloes/ Coral Snakes from 1987-1997. “Knock Yourself out” will be released in June 2009 . It will be roughly his 21st release and also his first official solo release. Not a lonely guy with an acoustic guitar though, its a filthy electro r&b affair.

Dave Graney and Clare Moore had been playing music since punk rock in the late 70s. Dave Graney plays guitar and sings and some- times just sings and moves the songs. Clare Moore plays drums and vibes and keys and sings.

They have always dressed in fine clothes when performing, when it was “the thing” and when it “wasn’t the thing”. Speaking of “the thing”, it would be best to say they love to get as close as possible to “the thing” and to keep doing what they were doing anyway. They are a part of their world and apart from it. They like their music to be both BIG and BOLD.

Kim Salmon and the Surrealists were formed by Kim Salmon in 1987 between the final two tours by The Scientists.

Kim’s work in the 1980s with The Scientists was influential in the development of grunge music, first recognised around Seattle, United States, before impacting on popular music in the early 1990s through bands such as Nirvana and Soundgarden where Salmon can also count among his fans, a number of noteworthy artists, including Mudhoney, Henry Rollins and members of the Jon Spencer Blues Explosion.

Don’t miss this amazing show, bringing together 2 of the most iconic and respected performers Australia has produced in the last 30 years!
