HANNAH is back on home soil after five months living from two minute noodles in a van. They gigged and busked their way from Hobart to Brisbane and back.
HANNAH returns to familiar surroundings on Saturday July 11th at Republic Bar where they will perform new foot stomping tunes along with much story telling of their adventures. To assist in the welcome home celebrations will be melodic rockers Ejecter and soul songstress Jane McArthur.
Living out of their van and setting up camp at beaches, rivers, road sides, and parking lots; it took each show, each plucked string, each CD sold, and each busk on the streets to get them that extra litre of petrol to reach the next town, the next gig, and to support their solid diet of 2 minute noodles and tuna.
They left with $40 between them, and returned with a bucket load of new tunes, two broken toes, a broken tibia (shin), swine flu quarantine (they were cleared!), a perfectly running yet “written off” graffitied van, and a couple of stories to tell.
“Its really good to be back home, even if the first week we were all locked inside. Seth with his broken leg and Roachy was practically growing hooves and snout from the swine” quotes Christopher.
Be set for HANNAH’s rock n roll verve of swamp dog raunchy guitars, raw foot stomping drums, and slamming melodious bass. Warm up those vocal chords, dust off that tambourine, and get ready for some toe-tapping rollicking fun, joining in with the HANNAH lads as they celebrate being home sweet home. Catch them before they head back to Melbourne in August.
